The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be implementing traffic pattern changes as part of the State Road (S.R.) 80/Southern Boulevard and S.R. 7/U.S. 441 Ramp Improvements Project in the Village of Royal Palm Beach.

Beginning Monday, February 23 through Friday, February 27, one northbound lane of S.R. 7/U.S. 441, from Erica Boulevard to north of S.R. 80/Southern Boulevard, may be closed intermittently for striping and erosion control work.

Additionally, beginning Monday, March 2, one northbound outside lane of S.R. 7/U.S. 441, from Erica Boulevard to north of S.R. 80/Southern Boulevard, will be closed continuously through Summer 2026 to accommodate bridge widening improvements along S.R. 7/U.S. 441.

Pedestrian detours will be in place with advance notice signage posted throughout the corridor. Pedestrians are advised to follow all posted directional signage and proceed with caution when traveling through the work zone.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time, and use caution when traveling through the affected area as traffic patterns may shift during construction activities.
